Ever since I was a young girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. That early passion led me to earn my degree in both Elementary Education and Special Education from Evangel University in Missouri. In 2021, my husband and I made the exciting move to Michigan, where I began teaching and he started his work as a school counselor in Detroit.

I am a certified K–8 teacher with experience in both general and special education settings. I’ve had the privilege of working with students of all learning styles and abilities, and I’m passionate about meeting kids where they are to help them grow. I believe that learning should be joyful and memorable—whether that’s through hands-on projects, engaging learning games, or those special “aha!” moments when everything clicks.
