Ever since I was a young girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. That early passion led me to earn my degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Evangel University in Missouri. I have more than 10 years of tutoring and working alongside children and families.

In 2021, my husband and I made the exciting move to Michigan, where I continued my career in education while he began serving as a school counselor in Detroit. I am a certified K–8 educator with experience in both general and special education settings, giving me the opportunity to work with students across a wide range of ages, abilities, learning styles, and needs.

In addition to teaching and tutoring, I serve as a Kids Pastor, where one of my greatest ministry strengths is creating welcoming, supportive environments for children with special needs and those who have experienced trauma to access the Bible. My background in both education and ministry has shaped the way I approach each child as an individual with unique strengths, needs, and incredible potential.

In February 2026, my husband and I welcomed our son, and becoming a mom opened an exciting new chapter for our family. I decided to step away from the traditional school classroom for this season and focus more intentionally on my church ministry and tutoring. This allows me to continue doing what I love. I am teaching, encouraging, and investing in kids while having the flexibility to soak up this special season as a new mom.

Whether we’re learning through hands-on projects, movement, games, creative activities, or celebrating that exciting “aha!” moment, I believe learning should be joyful, meaningful, and memorable.

Above all, my goal is simple: to meet kids right where they are and help them grow in both skills and confidence. I want every child I work with to feel seen, supported, capable, and excited about what they can accomplish.
