Parent Coaching

At Home Support

Parents are their child’s first and most consistent advocates. My mission is to equip families with the tools, strategies, and knowledge they need to confidently support learning and development at home. I provide individualized guidance that meets you where you are.

  • Behavior Strategies at Home: Learn practical, evidence-based approaches to address common behavioral challenges, including routines, emotional regulation, and positive reinforcement techniques tailored to your family dynamic.

  • Home-Based Learning Support: Receive tips and resources for supporting academic skills at home, creating structured learning environments, and incorporating fun, developmental activities into your routine.

School Support

Navigating the school system to get support for your child can feel overwhelming and intimidating—but you don’t have to do it alone. I specialize in coaching parents through every step of the process, helping you advocate effectively and confidently to ensure your child receives the services and accommodations they need to thrive in school.

  • Understanding the Signs: We help you identify red flags and early indicators that your child may need academic, behavioral, or emotional support at school.

  • Initiating the Process: Learn how to formally request evaluations, understand timelines and procedures, and communicate your concerns clearly and effectively to school staff.

  • Navigating IEPs and 504 Plans: Get expert guidance on eligibility, assessments, and the difference between an IEP and a 504 Plan. We walk you through what to expect at each stage and how to prepare for meetings.

  • Preparing for School Meetings: We coach you on what questions to ask, how to present your child’s needs, and how to be an equal and informed member of the decision-making team.

  • Following Up and Holding Schools Accountable: Learn how to track services, monitor progress, and advocate when things aren’t going as planned—all while maintaining a collaborative relationship with the school.

  • Building a Long-Term Advocacy Mindset: Gain skills, language, and confidence to advocate not just once, but throughout your child’s educational journey.

My goal is to help you become your child’s most effective advocate by turning confusion into clarity, and frustration into empowered action. With the right support, you can open doors and create lasting change in your child’s educational experience.
